Magic with a rose

Postby neil_the_newbie » Mar 30th, '11, 22:40

Could anyone please recommend any good dvds or books that focus on magic with roses?
I've seen the trailers for the Bluff 3 dvd set by queen of heart productions and was wondering if anything exists that is similar to this but focuses more or totally on rose magic.

Many thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide.

I take a thin sheet of paper and make an origami paper rose.
Quick, simple, hardly any skill needed, and romantic.

Its just one small item from a large book
"magical illusion, conjuring tricks, amazing puzzles and stunning stunts" by Nick Einhorn.

...but making a paper rose is probably on Youtube and some origami sites.

Luke Jermay has a great trick with a rose, I think its in 7 deceptions. Where a real rose shrivels and dies on the table in front of the spectator

The effect to which you are refering is called Divided By Hate. This is a more bizarre piece that relies heavly on the story useing the effect itself as a kind of explanation point to the story as is the way of most bizarre magic. Though a very good effect that plays really well if you like storytelling. I think this is a little darker than what he's looking for :D

Endless Rose - gimmicky, but I think it actually could be a nice piece, if you make your own routine up - have a look, see what you think.
