Gravity Fli**er Coin Query

Postby neil_the_newbie » Apr 15th, '11, 15:05

I recently purchased a coin dvd and a number of effects mention a gravity fli**er coin. I would like to purchase a £2 gravity fli**er coin but not sure what is the difference between a "gravity" fli**er coin and a "regular" fli**er coin. Could anyone enlighten me please as i am currently swimming in a sea of ignorance. :-)

Thanks in advance!

in short one you have to manualy seperate the other opens by aid of gravity.
http://kbmagic.com/makesthedifferencetwopound.html take a look at this to give you a heads upon a gravity set.

A gravity flipper has way more applications. Does all the things a standard one does but do much more. IMHO gravity flippers have made the standard ones redundant.

Would you say the link above is a gravity flipper?

It's a standard. You can buy both a standard and gravity £2 from that site. I have the £2 gravity and it's pretty good. If you need a £2 shell let me know as I have spares.

Okay – could someone advise please. I purchased what I thought was a Gravity Flipper from the above site for £40. How do I know if it is a Gravity Flipper and not a regular flipper? What is the difference? Or do they need to be worked a bit before they flip open as it seems “a bit tight”. Confused.

Hmm..

i ordered from here
http://kbmagic.com/ukcointricks.html
and it was the "Gravity Flipper Two Pound £40"

What i received was a Tango Magic "Flipper Pro flip 2 pounds"

But it doesnt just fall open as I expected it to. Being totally new to flipper coins I'm not sure if this is just because its new or not?

Looks like theyve sent you the wrong one im afraid. The Tango range comes in two different styles 'Flip' and 'Gravity', the flip version is the standard flipper.

That nice chap Keith Bennett emailed me back and apparently I do have a gravity flipper. it just needs to be worked in a little bit. So I will give it a try. Thanks for the quick response and first class service Keith. Much appreciated.

Neil, theres something not right here. Either they have sent you the wrong packaging for the coin, or what you have is definetely not a gravity flipper. As I mentioned above, Tangos Pro flippers come in two styles. The 'Flip' ones are the standard flippers, not gravity.
Like I said it may just be the wrong packaging.
