Is Google+ ever going to take off? I must admit I very rarely look at it.

That's a good question. I still wouldn't bet on it, but it has many potentialities. There has been a lot of technical fuss on some slipped out rant from an internal about what should be done about it and together with the fact that Google is investing a lot of resources on G+, I'd say that it really could actually take off.

Also, I can see several ways it could be pretty useful for people around here...

The problem I see is that I just about have enough time for one social media outlet in my life... I have a myspace account I've not logged into for over 12 months and two twitter accounts that I never use. I just can't see google+ displacing facebook anytime soon... At the moment, for me, it's not even competing.
