Are you saying my post wasn't well thought out? I rewrote it twice. Outside, now!

Your turn to defend me now Alfred ! Lol cheers mate :)

Two things i hate are arrogance and bullies so i assure you Tony im not either of those !

I just have no time for poor me people or the sort of people who repeatedly say "im so ugly" over and over just so everyone else can tell them their wrong, Then i see a thread combining all these things and aimed at a friend ive made on here who i know is a good guy and i wasnt going to sugercoat my opinion just coz it was a woman.

How different would this thread be if the original poster was a man lol.

An unfortunate fact of life is that appearance is important. For guys as well as girls. Whether you regard it as such, or whether you agree with whether this should be the case, doesn't change this fact. It's a human reality that everyone has to deal with. Most people are confronted with the issue of not being as attractive as the models and idolised actors and actresses on TV. I don't know why you seem to think you have such a unique problem.

i can sympathise with stacy in the fact that i too have had something i've wrote taken way out of context.......... to those of you who think stacy is just after re-assurance i have to disagree.
This whole issue started when i posted something i thought would be a little joke........ i evidently have a different sense of humour than some and i genuinely meant no offense in what i posted..... but what i posted caused a stir amongst some. Juslty so, stacy voiced HER OPINION on the matter of this whole image obsession that we have in this day and age, epitomised by my chauvinistic post (again, it wasnt intended as such)....
what unravelled was just unnessecary drama........ but inevitabley, as has happened with this thread, the original topic just got blown way out of hand........ and people get more wrapped up in trying to explain themselves and get their points across, straying even further away from the point so far that you don't even know what the point is anymore...... like now this thread is about jon and alfreds evident manlove ;) .....when it started as stacy trying to explain some things that have transpired the past few days.
people can easily misconstrue things that have been written and through trying to defend herself i think stacy has dug herself deeper!!
i've read her posts and been involved in these threads..........stacy is evidently self-conscious..... but i dont think this was in any way an attempt to grab attention. She has been mis-represented in other threads and rather than state her case in different threads, she wanted to summarise her thoughts (whilst offering others the chance to give theirs) in one place so the matter (a matter that would enver have been bought up if people had just wrote a toungue out face to my video instead of moaning!!!! lol) could be discussed and forgotten about.

so all this confusion has again led to name calling and p*nis comparison....... alfred i have to admit im suprised at you......you've always seemed so reserved and i admired that., however you've acted very differently in this thread!! i personally have bad anger problems so am hoping this is the case with yourself!! :P

tony and jon....... you're both old enough to know better, however, i have to admit tony is right......jon you have come across as quite arrogant, but again, as is the case with alfred, you've always seemed like a nice chap!!
but to be writing about being a "fitness instructor, bouncer....etc..." well to be honest mate that just annoys the c*** (not the best) out of me......what difference does it make that you are/have been a doorman........ if you are, then surely you should know more about avoiding confrontation than you have displayed on this topic!! and even still, it don't mean diddly that you're a bouncer!!!
maybe tony could have offered his thoughts in more grace.....but your response just highlighted exactly what he had said!!
again i want to re-itterate that, as with alfred, you've never come across like this before!!!

the problem is people don't know who theyre talking to over the interent.............. but if anyone would like to add me on facebook they're more than welcome to check me out and see who they're talking to!!!! :)

You should re read her original post mate, calling people out trying to say their sexist and just generally trying to embarrass people an nearly evey post being about the same thing before all this.

Trust me i wasnt trying to impress anyone by saying what i do my point was that all my jobs have been very male oriented but have always had women doing well also. So i find it funny to constantly go on about how hard it is to be a female magician with all the prejudice when lots of women do well in areas alot harder and with alot more prejudice than magic. So i think my reason for saying what ive done/do was good evidence i actually know what im talking about and not just showing off.

Also i'd happily trade having a big chest to be able to muscle pass :)

it's all just got out of hand............ as my thread did!!!

ive just come out of the army and with being infantry and being stationed with DG's and another infantry reg, there were no women about bar the medic that was attached to us, plus 2 clerks.......so for my company there were like 140 men compared to 3 women........ so i am fully awae of what women can achieve in a prodominantly male surrounding!!

as for the big chest and muscle pass........ some of us are just blessed with both ;) lol

C.L Ward - I'm disappointed in myself more than you are disappointed in me to be honest. I don't have anger management issues and have not really been angry over this thread, upset perhaps at being accused of being sexist, but not angry

More confused and perplexed at how someone has effortlessly managed to turn a magic forum into a self obsession with their looks, body and sexual preference

I should never have bitten, and my wife read what had been posted and to quote "so she's chucking up some bait for you and you're gonna bite?"

My wife asked me have I ever been accused of being sexist before? I hadn't no...."so you're going to let someone with a chip on her shoulder judge you and make her day by biting?"

My wife quite often sums up things a lot better than I do and she is right once again in regards to this thread

I should never have posted and regret doing so

Thought I was better than this sort of thing but obviously not

Its not a side of me you're ever likely to see to be honest

Accuse me of things that are not true and I may bite (as I have done here), most of the time I know its people being idiots online because they can be

I have achieved in this thread everything I hate about the internet (someone with a chip on their shoulder seeking attention and feeding them)

But don't blame the Mods for not deleting, they do a great (unpaid) job and people that post here are all over 18 and should know better

I didn't have to bite or reply and I chose to, my fault 100%

I put it to you sir, that you think that only gingers should be prison wardens!

I want to laugh...really I do...and I know you're joking...but if I do I will get someone posting

"I am a fat, ugly, ginger gay man and magic has always held that against me, the first was where someone in the Introductions told someone "good luck". I'm not sure how he meant this but maybe he knew I was ginger and fat and knew I needed luck...etc etc"

So for this reason will say this

Chris, I am disappointed in you, you should know better than to mention what sort of people are prison wardens...

Wait...hold on a sec...are we now also saying that all prison wardens are gay, fat and ugly too?

Surely this is some kind of discrimination by the prison service against us normal folk??

The b@stards!
