Safe way to set beard on fire?

I ended up just wrapping a small string of battery-powered christmas LEDs around my head and tucking it under my hat.

BTW I just had an idea for a gaff card to throw into a routine for some chuckles; a "404 error" card that says something like "The card you are looking for cannot be found." in the style of the http 404 error messages (example below).

Good decision re the fiery beard effect, I like the gaff card idea as well!
