Yep - it's TGI Friday at 6 Bedford Street. It's a meet of the London magic/hypno group, but any TMers are welcome to join us. We've got over 30 "yeses" and "maybes" on the Facebook event, so should be a good one.

You can see the FB London magic/hypno group here - http://www.facebook.com/groups/125832402055/#!/events/226149614130405/

I'm in bed with flu. Proper flu, not bad cold flu. Pain all over, shivers, boyscouts lighting campfires behind my eyeballs, etc.

I started coming down with it on my way to a gig, which made the event an odd experience.

Of course, they are always good fun

Our leader (Ste) was very good at organising these, any chance you could carry on from up North mate :D

Are you watching closely? Then I'll begin...

Haha. Is it all falling apart without me? Just post a date, time and place in big bold fonts in the thread. Then text everyone.

Funny, I don't recall Ste organising ANY meets. (No offence to Ste.)

"Organise?" - I may have used that word erroneously - how shall I put it...he "harassed" me :D often via text to encourage me to the meets...also "leader"...hmmm, he isn't really my leader either - that was a joke

Hope no offence taken DT - you've done a fine job setting the thread up and organising the meets - Ste was just very encouraging with his texts!

Yeah the meets were all Laurence's idea.

I just bullied people into attending. :)

Obviously not enough though as Mr Borden didn't attend my leaving do. Grr! ;)

Going to try and get a meet sorted for Tuesday the 6th March - all members welcome - be nice to see some ladies for a change, VE Day, are you London based? Lady of Mystery?

And Ste, here's the deal for you, you bother coming down, your dinner and all drinks are on me *Ste reads and begins his 400 miles walk*

Any suggestions for a pub most welcome, as most of you know I'm easy

Sounds great Mr Borden!

Can I suggest here for this meet? The Hoop and Grapes, 80 Farringdon St, London, ec4a? (So, not so far from International Magic then!)

http://www.thehoopandgrapes.co.uk/index.htm

I found it last weekend and it seems very nice, plus the landlord is chatty and seems to be very performance friendly! He's planning some comedy nights at the place, and maybe if we impressed him enough with our amazing skills.... (I'd better hide quietly in the corner then!)

And Ste, should you make it and need a sofa to crash on...

Because I'm the fussy grumpy one I thought I'd say that the Hoop and grapes is a right pain in the *rse to get to and from for me and its a sheperds Neame pub so the ales are bobbins.

That is not to say I am Vito'ing it. I will bow to the majority view....that is, of course, until I destroy democracy and take my place on my throne of skulls and then you will all suffer due to your insolence
