I don't actually have this myself but I do remember reading some very good reviews about it http://www.markleveridge.co.uk/rsd.php

If you can find a copy of Russ Neidzwicky's 'Pinnacle' there are plenty of rubber band effects on there, Dan Harlan released a DVD or two of rubber band stuff as well.

I picked up Pro-Flite at Blackpool as my mate uses it on gigs to great effect. The DVD comes with a ring on string routine which I've managed to memorise over the last 2 days (needs polishing but it's gettingfairly fluid now).

It's about 1/3 of th price of Ring Flight Revolution and you don't need a jacket.

Not quite what you're looking for, but Sean Fields' Saw routine with the Polo might fit in there somewhere :D

The World Greatest Ring Magic DVD has got some nice routines on it and I'm also pretty sure that there are some nice ring and string routines in the Encyclopedia of Rope Magic.

I can imagine the saw routine being a worker!

Gary Jones' does a ring coin transpo with a purse thingummy which is quick and visual.

Hi Lawrence,

I also recommend Mark Leveridge's routine.

You may also want to check Ring Leader by Greg Wilson.

Cheers
LP.

This includes Mark Leveridge performing and explaining his routine. Recommended.

If we're widening the serach for any borrowed ring routines, there's a ring & coin transpo in Art of Astonishment (Volume 2 I think) by Paul Harris which uses silly putty, though it could probably work with blue tack or any soft substance...

I can second that opinion, the routine is visual, comical in parts and baffling in all the right places. The necessary bits and pieces are probably already close at hand or can be acquired at a very modest cost.

The World's Greatest Magic Finger Ring DVD has lots of stuff, including the basic Leveridge routine.
The Leveridge Ring and String Deluxe has a couple of extra moves and more detailed instruction and (imo) is worth it even if you already have the basic routine.
Ring Leader by Greg Wilson is also excellent, many, many moves described in detail.

I like the Leveridge routine because it's ungimmicked, direct, not too hard to do, very magical and the ending is in the spectator's hands.

Mark's routine really is a lovely one and yup, it is on the L&L dvd. I've done that one quite a few times and it's always gotten really great reactions.

Have a look at Lennart Green's knot/nut effect. I'm not sure exactly what it's called by him but that's basically it. He just used a piece of rope and a nut but I actually perform this sometimes when I work using a shoe lace and a borrowed ring.

Here's Lennart performing it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVHVm8DXZLw
