Bill Dimensions for Bill Change

Postby morrowsean » Oct 16th, '12, 21:03

Hi,
Can someone please tell me, to perform a T**** T** Bill change, Does the Bill have to be EXACTLY the same size? Im finding it very hard to find foreign Bills the same dimensions as
UK notes?
Ideally i would like to borrow a note, Change it into a foreign bill then eventually back to the borrowed bill again.

Thanks!

Hi there.

The bills don't have to be the same size, it certainly helps if they are of similar size though. Length isn't really an issue unless the difference is extreme. If you use Michael Ammars third fold you can just change the size of the overlap to corespond to a longer note. It is the width that can be a problem. If one note is significantly wider than the other it can be exposed. One way around this is to do the change once and have the wider note as the one that's swi**hed in, this way there is no chance of any flashing.

Using two similar or the same notes can be very effective and is arguably the better option (in the context of a straight switch).

If you are interested in the switch and tt handling in general I highly recommend "Switch" by John Lovick. Great book.
