At one of Paul's evenings there was a guy who was very sceptical, to the point of scoffing at the whole thing, he said he'd only attended because his wife wanted to be there and it was, of course, all a load of tosh. At the end of the evening he went home visibly shaken by what he'd experienced.

I've said it lots of times before, but if mean chance expectation is 20%, then negative predictions will garner you an 80% hit rate.

Very true. Those who were solid believers had their opinions reinforced and therefore enjoyed themselves, those somewhere in the middle were shown that things seemingly without explanation can happen so they had a good time as well!
