Thanks for the feedback DJBenz,

Both of your ideas in point 1 are planned for a 'pro' version of the app.

I've not heard anyone else have a problem with the icon flip production. Is the icon in the right position? I assume it is as you're using the print production fine. Does the problem happen every time? Strange, I'll speak to Jakob about it.

Thanks
Damian

This is what the screen looks like after the first production (after the first flip it looks like this and the app needs to be restarted to get it back):

iPhone 4 with iOS 6.0.1

Thanks DJBenz,

I've forwarded your message on to Jakob, but let me see if I can take a stab at what's going on.

It looks to me like the card now icon wasn't in the correct position when the 'home screen' image was taken. The icon needs to be in the position (3 across, 4 down) when you take the screen shot of the home screen. I'm surprised that the 'print' production is even working properly without that.

Let me know if that sorts things out.

Cheers
Damian

I think I know what you mean now, I didn't realise the icon had to be in the right position when the screenshot was taken! I left it empty as I assumed the app added a 'button' in this position (which it does, the first time). If I screenshot with it in position it should go away. Hurrah!

EDIT: Works perfectly now. D'oh!

Hi, set up took 5 minutes & i've used it a few times on people. Got great reactions that I even used it at a paid gig the following day. I think I prefer the printer version becuase of the sound effects. If there was a kind of flipping noise for the icon flipping then that might tip me over to that side but great app as was the card 2 phone app. Great interaction with the users too, I submitted a couple of suggestions to objects in the card 2 phone app that was taken onboard & offered in the pro version update.

I agree that storing more cards would be nice as would not having to take a new photo every time but these are little things. Great app.

Hi Jordan,
There are lots of people wanting an Android version. We're focussing on apple devices at the moment.

Thanks for the feedback russpie,
We fried a flipping nose for the icon revelation, but it wasn't quite right. I've just added it to the list of things to do for a future update.

Glad you're enjoying it!

Odd choice of snack, but whatever gets you through the creative process I suppose. ;)

Thanks for spotting that DJBenz,

I was going to go in and edit it, but it's such a lovely typo that I'm thinking that's must be a hidden meaning. What would Freud have to say?

What's the sound of a fried nose sneezing? Clearly that's the audio we need on the app!

I've been using this a lot and can't quite believe the reactions if gets!

People are dumb founded and display true astonishment! Brilliant little app.

I was trying to think of other reveals for the update. Anyone else have any ideas?

Maybe if the seperate colours of the business card appeared one at a time, as it was printing each colour in order? They could be displyed from one end of the card to the next, as if it was going through a printer

How about, you snap your fingers just above the screen (as you do so your middle finger can glide across the screen as the downward motion of the snap takes place) and due to that secret touch, the business card appears.

You can then pull it out as normal.

I like the effect. I do have one bit of feedback. It would be nice if the app name was different on the homescreen. The problem is that all the spectator has to do is search the app store for 'card now' and hey presto they have the secret. Just a thought.

Thanks for all of your comments.

We are not planning to change the app name, but updates are coming. And a pro version! Both are being tested now.

Thanks again for all the feedback,
Damian
