thanks Miko, I was thinking that myself. I have RIP book but have not managed to hypnotise anyone yet (I've only tried once properly though)

I'm looking for purely magic. I have got several tricks on my wish list: smoke - Alan Rorrison, iContact - Chris Congreave, Phil Deck, XPresso - Andrew Normansell, Back twist - Mathieu Bich, Knock em dead 2 - Peter Nardi, Something from nothing - Michael Murray.

Any recommendations or things to steer clear of?

As much as I would love to push my family in the direction of an online magic shop to get my Christmas and birthday stuff sorted, I don't really want to scare the proverbial out of them for some of the prices, nay spoiling effects.

So I've done the next best thing. Chose a load of stuff that vaguely fits on Amazon, created a wishlist on there, and handed it to them to abuse. Sadly (?) there's not much in the way of decent stuff on there if you aren't a playing card collector, but I found enough mainstream psychology-ish books and random stuff to fill the list out. Even found Craig Petty's Chop on there...

Since I don't really bother Xmas, I might just buy myself a Theatre Fire Wallet. I've been fancying one for a while.

Today I have casually browsed eBay and purchase around 20 items; thankfully I wasn't paying a great deal of attention and i've already forgotten at least half of what I've ordered so that will be a nice suprise when they turn up near christmas!

Custom R&S decks made to specification - PM me for details
