They say:

*This is the best 3 card trick ever...Printed In Bicycle Stock!
This is a top seller in magic shops worldwide!

No matter where you see the ace placed, it switches positions!

You get the special cards printed on Bicycle Rider Backs

and you get a full length DVD with several performances and additional methods to switch-out the cards, plus more!

On the DVD, learn step by step from Rudy Hunter, Marty Grams and Rob Stiff.

We also would like to thank Ken DeCourcy of England for giving his permission on this incredible effect. In the 1940's/1950's/1960's Ken DeCourcy and Supreme Magic of England championed this amazing effect.

Peter Pit of Holland further contributed a well used handling of this trick using jumbo cards. It is also highly necessary to recognize Theodore L DeLand (1873-1931) for his work on "Pick It Out" for making all of this possible...Further credits and the history of this effect can be found on this DVD.

Price: £8.99

I say:
Its the classic 'Follow the Ace type' monte effect. I think this is quite neat. The effect is well thought out and clearly presented and I think well worth £9. The good news is it is dead easy to do, even for a beginner with no skills in card manipulation at all. The basic trick requires no sleights - you just have to follow the excellent instructions on the DVD. (By the way there are no written instructions with this trick).

You don't start and end clean - but that doesn't really matter for the basic trick and the bonus material suggests ways of cleaning up your act so that you can start and end clean if you so wish, but these will take a bit of practise and 'pinky' work, if you follow me.

Watch the video here to see the effect: http://www.magicmakersinc.com/MILLIONDOLLARMONTE.wmv

You don't need to be a expert mage to work out how its done but I think its pretty impressive to a lay person. Its cheap and quick to learn the basic effect.
Overall score: 8/10

Nice effect, not too difficult to work out the method though. Anyone able to indicate what the audience reation is?

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

I think that says it all........

For a couple of quids it is probably worth keeping the trick intermingled with your regular blue backed bicycles just to add a bit more clout to the routine when you pull those out to use. Maybe??!!! What do you think?

The bonus material on the DVD shows you exactly how to start and end clean with a normal pack of bikes. My cards came in red bikes.
