Right firstly iv got an effect where at the end theres a surpise reveal under a pillow case on a on stage spectators head, struggling to find a method to keep the mask (1) from not coming off with the case as florishly take off at the end. Iv tryed using verious kinds of glasses as the bases to which the mask is stuck on front, but no luck any ideas guys for how to stick the mask to specs head without inposeing on my second problem (see below)

(2) the second problem i have is the mask needs to be able to be contained in the pillow case and attached to the specs head secretly and easyly without audience catching wind

before anyone says anything the effect this reveal is used as, is no way connected or similer to marketed effect "red carpet" (thought i better say cos i know what some people are like hehe)

Guys you are all soo dam helpful thanks for all answers

have a lovely day whereever you are!

Sam

I think what would work (although I can't know for sure) is if the pillow case is made of a very light and smooth fabric such as silk, while the mask is made of a more heavy but still smooth fabric like leather.

You could attach some push buttons or small patches of Velcro to the pillow / mask so they hold together easily, and when you put the pillow / mask on, you separate them at the same time, under the guise of straightening / adjusting the pillow.

Don't forget to consider breathing holes, stage lighting and the heat it generates, also make sure your volunteer isn't claustrophobic. Personally I'd freak the f*** out if I had to stand or sit on stage with a sack on my head for too long.

Invoke not reason. In the end it is too small a deity.
