Gang-
Congrats on reading my very first post here--other than my intro!
Been practicing magic for close to 20 years, and have always loved the basic "copper, silver, brass," trick.
I've never performed it because I've never come up with an original handling for it. This year, I put up th the $45 or so (my to the Wife's chagrin,) and bought a set.
That was two months ago. I got nothing. I refuse to do it the pain (that was a typo--I meant to type "plain," but I think both words fit), old way we've all seen it done a million times--coins transposing from hand to pocket. I know Gary Kurts reinvented it some years ago in a book of his. Albeit a beautiful and original handling, it requires a table and cards (for those of you that won't matter to, check it out. Someone help me out here with the name of the book, here), I would like something still in the hands, but a fresh direction.
I hate just dangling something out there, without any ideas of my own to add to it, but I'll make up for it. I promise.
So any of you who are familiar, or have had some thoughts on a unique presentation of this old classic, post, post, post. Let's reinvent this old thing and give it a rebirth!
Peace and Fun,
B!
