I am 30 years old, and have been doing magic as a part time/hobby for about 6 or 7 years. I started out with a book of "self-working card tricks" and eventually progressed into sleight of hand, small close-up illusions, and have a strong preference to cards. I prefer the street style, close-up style magic, as I enjoy the intimacy with the audience, and the innocence it tends to portray. I am looking at moving away from cards slightly, and adding more diversity to my presentations, and hope to learn something from poking around this site......if anyone is from Western Canada, or is ever visiting the area, I love to sit down with fellow magi and share tips, secrets, and ideas! I will hopefully get a chance to speak with many of you throughout my visits to TM forum.
