Im thinking of getting one of these tricks.

2 Gold and Silver
3 Butter coin

I'm not sure about Dynamic Coins.

Gold and Silver has pros and cons. Pros: the effect, although it's old, is excellent. Cons: the coins aren't standard coins. This means that everyone will want immediately to go look at them. And they can't.

The butter coin is more specialized, but still good.

Myself? Scotch and Soda . I think that it's just classic.

I agree about scotch & soda. That is a classic. Butter coin is really good as it comes with a DVD so you will pick up lots of good ideas. I have had dynamic coins for years and hardly ever use them in my close up act. The problem with them it is that if you bang the rings too hard on the table then it kind of tips the trick, also if you do not press enough on the cap when you vanish the 'coins' then they are still there!

I like the flipper coins or the miracle coin unique as you can do some really good vanishes and penetrations. These are the only coins i take with me when i perform at a close-up booking.

gold and silver like its hopping halfs conterpart gives you two of the best gimmicks in coin magic, if you spare some time to think about the props you get you can do a startling coin transpo an scotch and soda esk coin vanish.
if you can aford it go for the hopping halfs exp set then you will have the extra something for multiple coin production's and halfs to paper money tricks.

a flipper and a butter coin do similar tasks, i found the ten pence version a tad small to be realistic for coins across but the fifty pence version is ok.
i belive that both come with the american version of the dvd ise all the tricks show the half being used so some of the stack moves are backwards which is very anoying but the rest of the routines are no problem.
if you go for the butter coin go for the half version as most of the coin books like boobos refer to a half as standard or the fifty pence version if you realy need uk versions, nobody ever questioned that i was uaeing halfs in my uk magic shows, magic is magic.
