Received mine yesterday.

Managed to sneak it into the house without the wife seeing it.

First impressions - clever if a little bit big.

Interesting.... is it pretty self-working?

Ye its very self working, but the trick with the 2 envelopes and the £10 note (see video on magictricks.co.uk) does require a little preperation - although you do get one something to get you started.

i finally went out and bought the leyser 2020 and have had great results. Has anybody come up with some good routines for using it. Im trying to find items that dont come across as being detectable by the gimmick. Also is it possible to buy detectable paper? If i produce a piece of card from my pocket saying lose on it i feel specs no there is something strange going on, it would be better if you produce the card and then write a personnal message on it.

cheers

Get some gold/silver leaf, and you can very easily make some up.

Sorry if English isn't your first language, but I have absolutely no idea whatsoever what you mean...

I think he means that when he's doing an effect where you find the paper that says win, even when the speccies can mix them behind the back, if he takes the paper saying "lose" on in out of his pocket it looks suspicious.

umm...what?

I didn't mention any videos...

I was just talking about one of the more obvious effects with the Leyser when you have 2 bits of paper, one with "WIN" and one with "LOSE", and the magi always finds WIN even though the speccy mixes them up behind his back.

what i ment was " A trick they recomend you do is to put money in one envolope and a piece of paper saying lose in the other , obviously the leyser does not detect any paper so it has to be a special gimmicked paper. You are suppplied with only one piece of paper so once you have written lose on it once i dont really feel i can use this paper again when performing at another time. How many people carry paper around with lose written on it? what i wanted to know was if you can buy sheets of the special paper so that you can write on this over and over again.

this probable only makes sense if you have the 2020

sorry

i get you, yet i dont have it. Bring the paper out face (LOSE) down, then turn it on its side in the air and pretend to write.

It tells you on the DVD about extra supplies of paper.

I may be missing something here, but doesn't the leyser detect a sterling notes? if so there is no need surely for the paper to be gimmicked...
