ok this one you got to get.

The effect, a packet of cards are removed from the wallet the top 4 are shown to be flies (printed but look amazing) the rest are shown to be blank.

Then you place the 4 flies down on the mat, explaining there is 1 fly in each room of the house. Livining room, Kitchen, bedroom and WC.

Then you place 3 blank cards on top of each fly, explaining these represent the 3 walls around each room. As you show the fly in room 1 you explain all the swatting in the world wont get rid of flies, the best way is to leave a larger mess in the room next door.

You count the pile again and the fly has gone, going into the next room you count 2 flies etc. till you get to the 4th Room

At which point you slam your hand down on the flies and show 4 squashed flies (again well printed with red splat marks on) trick over.

There are many ways to perform this trick, I use a fake dog poo. and move it from room to room.

reset is a bit ##. and it does have a lot of elsmleys in it, so difficulty for some maybe 8\10. but well worth it. Add it to your cart if you do comedy its a must and no one will work it out the amazing kicker ending.

I have to agree with you on this one. If you can do the Elmsley, this is a must.
It has got to be one of my favourite packet effects. I got mine from Davenports on a recent trip to London. I think it was about £14 but still worth every penny.

I like the idea of the fake poo I normally wave the cards over the next packet and make a fly type buzzing noise.

Fly Cards always gets a great reaction. I believe this is because of the quality of the artwork, the surprise ending and the fact that it is not just another card trick.

I think i have seen another card trick like this one called 'Tension'. nly he uses the 4 10's instead of flies. I think i'd rather have the fly one, sounds like more of a comical routine plus you have the extra bonus of having the squashed flies!

the fake poo makes everyone laugh,and lets face it thats what your after with this one. cool trick

Question - I've seen an effect called Fly Cards II - has anyone seen this one? How is it different from the one described here?
