Hey,
Does anybody have any advice on where to start learning suggestion/NLP?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

The pursuit of excellence books or anything by Richard Bandler and John Grindler are excellent starting points.

I have seen some books on using it a la Derren Brown, but they start a third of the way in and I think there is value in understanding NLP in its entirety rather than slice out the bits to use (and never really understand it!).

I have an NLP practitioner course and certificate under my belt and find that DB and others who 'downtime' people (hynosis and suggestion that is) are only partially using NLP techniques, there's obviously more to it than that, and using what would probably count as 'stage hypnosis' I would reckon.

Still,

Hope this helps,

Vic

Sleight of Mind is really good in giving an overview of suggestion/nlp and hypnosis. Building Blocks - Luke Jermay - is excellent as well.

Thanks guys. I already have building blocks and (I dont think people will like me for this) I dont really like it. I think what vic_vdb said is true, it only deals with a very narrow spectrum of the topic. It does have some clever effects int though.
