Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

Looks like a 2" coin will be a difficult item to track down. Would you be able to use something less glamorous such as ordinary steel washers? I'm reasonably sure you can get those in a variety of diameters.

could you not get some friendly metal man to knock you up some from brass and stamp them with designs.

a jumbo coin is accepted to be 3" plus, who decided the standard i don't know.

a washer is a large machine designed to clean clothes....a steeel washer is a posher looking one...

a washer is a flat circular piece of metal with a whole in it and goes between an nut and bolt to spread the load or as a spacer think metal version of a polo mint but with varing thicknesses.

MagicDiscoMan is right - if you ask at a nut and bolt supplier or possibly an engineering company fasteners supplier, they may be able to help. Washers are just a circle of steel, sometimes plated or coated, with a hole in the middle- a flat doughnut shape. They can be made in brass and could almost look a bit like Chinese coins without the lettering on.

We have some colleagues at a firm in Oslo so, if you're still having problems, I'll ask them if they can suggest the names of some places you can try - just let me know if this is of interest.
