Thanks to Tenko for the Video - great help.

I often wonder if my hands are too clumsy, cos when I read the Royal Road book / instructions - I have real problems.

I also think that maybe I should start videoing myself, as it looks (from my point of view), that whatever move I'm trying would never fool a spec.

Cheers
Rob

Thanks for the video. I was looking at the Royal Road book last night, got most of it but the video cleared the bits up I was stuck on

Thanks again

Yeah, I sometimes have difficulty following the instructions in RR. Some of the time it seems they go into a lot of detail about small movements, while some things are just assumed. It really does help to see a video - so you can judge the tempo of it, as well as the intended affect on the audience.

Craig: Demitri already recommended this above:

Demitri wrote:Mark - as for Double Lifts... I've mentioned it a few times, and I can't stop doing so. Check out Gregory Wilson's Double Take - it will teach you 25+ doubles and some effects using them, as well. You'll learn the strike double, like Tenko showed you, the Vernon double, as well as ways to lift them from a tabled deck, spread, fan, etc. It's definitely worth checking out if you're having trouble with doubles.

Oh yeah silly me
