Hi, just been away with the wife and kids to pontins in hembsy and they had a stage magician act, it was okay but they done 3 effects based on the sword box, 3 different boxes but the same routine.... assistent gets in gets poked, box opens assistent gone,,, box shut unpoked assistent come out with new outfit... done 3 times!!! :roll:

Was it a bluecoat show or a cabaret act? I might well know them cos I used to work at Caister!

cabaret act, the presentation was great but 3 effects the same....

Had a similar argument with a fellow Magician,over the David Kaye book,
"Seriously Silly",now in the book,David gives 3 routines for vanishing a silk,the argument was,why do you need 3 different ways of vanishing a silk?.......
Now if he had read the book properly,all 3 routines,were for different age ranges,David knows his stuff,and had observed that different ages will
react to different routines.... :P
