SEAN HEYDON, CHLOE LOUISE CRAWFORD AND COLIN CLOUD REPLACE ACTS AT FESTIVAL

NEW NAMES have been added to the line-up of the South Tyneside International Magic Festival this weekend (11 – 13 October).

America’s Got Talent: The Champions favourite Colin Cloud and Britain’s Got Talent star Chloé Louise Crawford will now perform at the gala show tonight (11 October), while card magician Sean Heydon will take to the stage tomorrow night.

The announcement comes after Spanish magician Maga Gisell and Britain’s Got Talent winner Richard Jones have had to withdraw from the event due to unforeseen circumstances.

Described by the media as the closest thing to a real life Sherlock Holmes, Colin has impressed audiences as the frontman of The Illusionists on London’s West End, Broadway and across America and is currently starring in his own show in Las Vegas alongside magician Shin Lim.

He will be joined by Chloé, who was the first female magician to be successful on the ITV talent show and has taken her act around the world, including appearances on tv shows such as Masters of Illusion, Top Gear USA, Brain Child and America’s Got Talent.

Then, tomorrow night audiences will be entertained by Sean, who has performed at a wide range of events and venues, including casinos, conventions, weddings and cruise ships, and is also well known as the host of popular online series The Wizard Product Review.

Councillor Tracey Dixon, Deputy Leader of South Tyneside Council at South Tyneside Council, believes the new additions will put on a fantastic show.

“It is a great shame that two acts have had to withdraw from the festival but we are delighted that Colin, Chloé and Sean have stepped on board to bring something new to the line-up over the weekend,” said Cllr Dixon.

“They are all incredibly talented at what they do, with have amazing stage presence and I think those attending the event will have a brilliant time.”

Tickets start at £13 for the gala shows and can be purchased from www.customshouse.co.uk or by calling 0191 454 1234.

The South Tyneside International Magic Festival is organised by South Tyneside Council and magician Steve Gore, supported by BBC Newcastle and sponsored by The Customs House and Magicbox.
