Novels with a magical theme

Postby Mandrake » Sep 1st, '21, 23:20

Just a quick nudge, there’s a series of mystery novels featuring magician Eli Marks and written by John Gaspard.

Each one bears a magical title and during the narrative reference is made to many other well-known moves, sleights or routines - no secrets are given away! Some of the books are free downloads on Kindle, there are two free short stories on offer and the rest of the novels are priced quite attractively. For a light hearted read and the chance to paste that smug look on your face 'cos you know what he's referring to and which muggles don’t, see https://www.elimarksmysteries.com/ for details!

Titles are:
The Ambitious Card
The Bullet Catch (Currently free to download)
The Miser’s Dream
The Linking Rings
The Floating Light Bulb
The Zombie Ball
The Magic Square

Short stories (Free):
The Invisible Assistant
The Last Customer

Sadly, none of these are now free, at least at Amazon UK.

That's bad news indeed. I use Bookbub to search for freebies and often the same deal is repeated a while later. The two short stories (and audio files) are stil on offer for free.

I get a daily email from Bookbub, but most of the books in it are reduced but not free. For 100% free books try https://uk.ereaderiq.com/freebies/
