Good to hear from you, Michael. It's always nice to see a response from the people who actually created/distributed an effect, especially when they have little stories to pass on.

Mind Prowler ESPecial by Banachek and Richard Osterlind's Direct ESP

Can anyone advise whether these are on DVD or book format & what DVDs or books? Thanks.

Re the deck yes is great, the 3 phase opener is also great with the exception of the last part which involves a sleight, & a sleight I can't do very well & I don't really want to do as if court this really ruins the whole affect.

There's another esp effect where all the cards line up correctly, I'm sure I had it at 1 point but can't find it now, so no idea where that's gone or what it is
:(

Mr Bravo, they are both in the book that comes with the deck.
Not sure if they are on DVD, although there is a DVD using ESP decks from Magicbox, the name of which escapes me, as I don't have it yet.

By all accounts, it's good.

The ESP2 deck tie-in DVD is called "Submodalities".

It has a whole load of new effects with full explanations really adding to the ESP2 arsenal and also demonstrations only of the effects from the ESP2 book that came with the deck. Some of the effects given can even be done with a different zener pack (if for some strange reason you would want to - I really like the ESP2 deck).

It is indeed very good and if I recall extremely reasonably priced.

Highly Recommended. :D

Just thought I'd add here that like another poster I wasn't happy with one of the moves you might have to make for the 3rd phase of the ESP3 routine in the booklet.

Then having a dig through some of my older esp routines that had been concined to the draw I pulled out Symbiologic, (or is it Symbology, I forget & the trick is downstairs & I'm too old & farty to go check!)

Anyway using this effect, its easy to put it into the 3rd phase instead & thus eliminates the awkward move. You just have to doctor one of your BeyondESP cards & add it to the deck.

Works for me.

First and foremost, what a product! just brilliant!

Freddie, you were spot on about the accompanying book mate, so often these "stocking fillers" are just a waste of time, in this case the book that comes with the cards is excellent.

I really enjoy Banacheck's PSI and Richard Osterlind's series, both performers having made contributions to the book. Am sure I will find even further uses for these cards from these DVD's also.

an outstanding product of high quality. well done!

It's a great deck and and the whole package has been well thought out and put together. Considering the price too, one of the best value magic items on the market.
There are almost as many effects that can be performed with these as you can a normal deck of cards, with the added 'psychic' element. The routines in the book alone are real, solid workers and well explained and many of the books I already have contain ESP deck routines. With the added extra of the m******s you can treble the amount of effect that can be done with an unm*****d ESP deck.

Pure quality.

I must agree it is a very good deck with so much potential. Well worth getting hold of.

What I was particularly impressed with was the inclusion of the little "extras" that came with the cards, ie, the gaffed cards and even a couple of the little envelopes so that everything explained in the book was immediately available to practice with.

Can't remember if it was mentioned above but the marking system is taken from Jerry Sadowitz's "Spellbinder" and is devilishly clever and almost impossible to spot unless you know the system.

The effects described in the book are pretty easy to remember but the end results are fantastic, making a real impression on spectators.
Card tricks for mentalist routines are a delicate balancing act at the best of times but the fact that you can explain the presence of the cards as a test of ESP helps a lot and these cards allow you to perform some excellent effects with only a little practice.

I was a little dubious when I purchased these a month or so ago, but I have to say that compared to most of the stuff I've bought recently, this is one of the most polished and professionally produced items in my arsenal.

BUY IT!

I bought these excellent cards due to the convincing review and use them a lot. Does anyone know whether they are available in JUMBO size ?

I don't think so. You can contact Michael Murray directly, at Magicbox. I'm sure he can fill you in: info@magicbox.uk.com.

Yes he's a nice lad, I always try and have a natter if I'm in there and the store's not too busy, which it invariably is.

Since this topic's been reopened I might as well add...

It really is an excellent package. It's strong point is it's versatility - it has almost as much potential as a pack of cards. And if you're lazy, like me, you can just go with the routines in the booklet.
Anyways,0 confession time. I've had this for months and I haven't used it. Not once.

Sorry to you all.

Don't let that put anyone off though. It's just because I'm a layabout.

Many thanks for the kind words! Unfortunatly we dont have a jumbo version of the cards as yet! I never even considered it!

If we go into production of them "Replicant" you will have a free copy sent your way! That is only on the condition i get a cuddle the next time we meet!

So long as you have a copy of the standard deck and it's for your own personal use I wouldn't mind you producing your own by scanning and blowing them up!

Kind Regards Michael :D
