New cards in ASDA!

Postby MagicAL » Sep 1st, '05, 19:48

Unfortunately ASDA are no longer selling Bikes for the very reasonable price of £1.47 in the booze aisle... :(

However they now sell "Poker World Series" Cards in red and blue bee back with a border. They are made by USPCC still, so quality will not be a problem. Most of the card stuff I do is using a straight pack, so the lack of bikes on sale was not really a problem... :D

However when paying for them they are charging £3.49 a pack! I dont know if I have just gotten used to paying the £1.47 a pack for bikes (or £1 in costco) but this seemed a real hike in price. I guess ASDA saw the bikes were flying off the shelves and are trying to cash in. :x

Just thought you guys might like to know.

general question about costs at costco

Postby mackay45 » Sep 11th, '05, 19:39

hi
i was thinking of joining costco to buy cheap phones in bulk. is costco the best way to go about this and could anyone tell me a price of a phone in costco at the moment or just any general prices they know because they have bought that item recently. what i really want to know is will it maximise my profits or am i better off trying to find someone over the internet to buy in bulk from.

thanks
alex

They look like they are bridge sized? I personally prefer poker myself.
