try getting them to paint up boxes and tubes, for productions kids love this type of prop.
any magic they can make and use is a bonus.

Kids tricks

ok, you`r probably already reading that book and are totally sorted concerning tricks you could teach`em - but let me try anyway : i remember the first evening school for kids course my mum sent me to and still sometimes do or teach some of the tricks - try hands-on stuff, like the boomerang effect - we had it as two fishes cut out from cardboard, hold one on top of the other and it looks bigger - guess you know which one i mean - made them ourselfes then - or the paper tree - still works fine and makes a right mess - roll a newspaper in such a way, that it becomes a 10-20-30 foot tree - just keep`em busy, that`s what i always try....and try not to bore them....

I am a 14 yr old English magician and began my hoobby with Marvins Magic, i know it sounds corny but i flet that tricks from them were good like Svengali, Stripper and Mind reading decks, also i would recommend from experience something like the Dynamic coins.

PM BACK IF YOU NEED MORE HELP.
