hmm ... my other worry is that i doubt there are many server transmitting data out at 24mb, so you will probably not notice it unless you are running some decent P2P, Bittorent or Download managament software.

Whats the upload speed on the 24Mb? is it somting lame like 512k? And the lack of static IP is pretty poor too.

Ahem... whats' P2P and Bittorrent? I'd never use something like TorrentStorm to download stuff for free, guv'nor

Yeah, I think the upload is pretty poor on the 24MBps service. We're currently with ZenADSL 2MBps, which is fine. I think the upload is 512, plus we get 8 static IP's, which is nice.

Until we desperately need a faster connection, I think we'll stick with Zen at the moment, as their service is excellent. I've heard Bulldog's 8MB service is 'dogged' with issues. My friend has it in his area, and on average only gets maybe 2.5MB download speed. Bulldog describe the service as UP TO 8MB, but so far, he's never seen it.

Now if it was a guaranteed 8MB download speed, we'd be there!

I think Bulldog got shot into the lime light a little and are still growing to meet the demand ... I'm sure they will get there .... its better than AOL so thats a relief!

As for the BitTorrent and P2P....i dont use them to download things for free ... i use it to SHARE things for free  lol
