Basic pass

Postby duri » Sep 29th, '05, 06:01

Hi guys,
I am new to magic and I parctice the basic (classic) pass.
But as I do the pass I can hear the bottom pile flicks up.
Is it allright or the pass has to be absolutely quiet?

Thanks

It does need to be as quiet as possible, so as not to arouse suspicion. Of course, with some good misdirection, you can get away with a bad pass nearly every time!

If you're worried about noise, you could always practise a riffle pass, which is in itself, a noisy move due to the riffle.

Cheers,

Keep up your practice thats all it takes. Try to practice it realy slowly getting your packets to swap without noise you may need a small alteration in your hand position to aid this but with practice and a bit of mis direction youll learn to do it quietly very quickly.
