hmm, they need more magic shows near the washington DC area...

I don't know of anything steady in that region any longer. There was a mystery theater in the Baltimore area for a while and I know of a few guys that were doing some steady table hopping gigs in DC propper but that's about it. You've got to head north and even a bit west of you (Phili and P'bourgh).
Then again, you might be the one to help break open some new turf
