I love this effect but i am unsure it is for me, being a beginner and all. Anyone have any suggestions? Are there any big sleights or is it all pretty simple stuff?

Cheers

Sam :)

The answers that you seek are within this thread. Start at the beginning and then read.

I know it's a fairly long thread - and you prob don't wanna have to wade through it all to get your answer, so even though I've prob already said this a few times on here, I'll say it again:

There are no complicated sleights to learn. You could prob learn to perform this even if you've previously never mastered any sleights at all. I will, however, say one thing - it does take quite a bit of practice to get it smooth. Don't expect to watch the DVD once, then go out and perform it, 'cos it ain't gonna happen  . The moves are fairly simple - all that is needed is some dedication to practice the routine 'til you can do it blindfolded

If you've 2 fully functional hands - you shouldn't have any problem with any of the moves. Are you dedicated enough though to practice? If the answer is yes, then I can assure you, you won't be disappointed

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

Yes , this effect is alright but I'm kind of scared to actually perform it for people on the street...Takes alot of practise.

I agree 100% with moonbeam... practice only! I have the DVD for about 3 months and I can 'do' it... but still not the way I would show it.

you do have to be a little bit careful with the cans you use. The vanish is easier on some cans than on others. I fell foul of this once so it's worth just checking the can before hand. John Smiths beer cans are one example where it's slightly harder, not impossible you just have to be a bit more careful.

Sme with coke cans you need to use an english coke can rather then a turkish or where ever they come from now days

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

Only two comments on this potentially great trick is , the sound of a coin rattling inside of the can should sound different than it does but it seems not to be noticed. Second, it can be quite messing opening a can of soda that has been shaken. All that aside it is a clever trick.

Cheers
