No-one has mentioned this, but, I presume that the sentence is being spoken by a chip shop owner to a sign painter because of his (or her) dissatisfaction over the sign :?

You could therefore make 6 and's by adding to the end of the sentence, AND I'm not happy with the colour either or AND I'm not paying you till its right

there's a few surely.
i'll start: Purple.

what's more powerful than god,
more evil than the devil
poor people have it
rich people need it
and if you eat it, you'll die

(old i know, but all i can think of without quoting the riddle of the sphinx)

Everyone says orange has no rhyme, but what about syringe?

Mind you, a friend of mine writes poetry that doesn't rhyme, but it sounds great when he recites it. Dodgy stuff, yer actual poems :?

I think I know one, Larry. I remember a song from a helluva long time ago called "Christine" by Siouxie and the Banshees that rhymed purple with turtle.

purple with turtle?
that'd be some questionable pronunciation there I'm sure

I don't remember it being strangulated:

Singing sweet savages lost in our world
This big-eyed girl sees her faces unfurl
Now she's in purple. Now she's a turtle
disintegrating

I seem to remember it sounded okay, but it was about 1979!
