Effect

This is a DVD showing you how to make and master 6 brilliant Stand-up effects. All the effects he shows you are easy to make, easy to do and audience tested. He shows you what the props and the effects would be like with a live audience. This DVD also Includes artword, which needs a computer with a DVD drive.
The tricks are:

TWO COLOUR TORN TISSUE
a torn and restored napkin effect with a twist

COMEDY CARD STAB
A great card stab effect where 2 people select a card with a visual knock out ending

CRYSTAL GAZING
A spectator names a card that some in the audience is thinking of!

HALVE-IT
The '3 and a half of clubs' Stand-up vision

HANDSCAN
Produce a fan of cards from your hand with no slights.

CARD IN BOTTLE
A card comes in a bottle

Cost

Around £25-ish

Reveiw

This is a Great DVD, deffenetly a good buy. I only bought it for the Comedy card stab (which was fantastic) but then i saw all the other stuff on this DVD. The Handscan is absoult genius you wouldn't believe how simple it is and hpw easy it is to make. The crystal gazing has and amazin' method. But it does have to be the comedy card stab thats the best. I'm going to buy all the parts and amaze the world. well worth the money

Examinable

some yes some no

Overall

I'd give it 9/10 for the fact that you have to buy stuff to make the effect
but Overall a good buy

Thanks for the review El Ryno.

Although I have never actually seen Martin Lewis perform I have only ever heard great things about him, and I suspect that for anyone who is looking into performing standup/parlour magic, that this DVD will be a huge asset to their collection - actually it has been one that I have been looking into for a while, so your review was very welcome.

For those interested, he (Martin Lewis) also has a highly recommended dvd that teaches the Senor Mardo Egg Bag routine.
