Who has heard of this genius?he is the eu close up champion!i cant wait he is coming to ireland to give a lecture to my magic group,we are called the southern brotherhood of magicians,has any one else seen his show or has any of his products i would like to hear from all who have to see what im in store for.thanks

I think you mean Mark Oberon.
I haven't seen him lecture but he performed at the recent Session Convention near Gloucester. To be fair he performed some lovely effects but for some reason he seemed under-rehearsed. He couldn't seem to remember what order his set was supposed to be in and stopped effects a couple of times before restarting them later. Odd for a European Champion.
Probably just having an off day though. You don't get to be a champion for nothing and some of his effects - like the ring on the rope - were superb.
