Goes without saying that this is illegal and Derren Brown doesn't take too kindly to this kind of stuff (judging by his website):

Legal Notice
It occasionally comes to our attention that individuals are offering unauthorised versions of Derren's books or video on the net. This is illegal and taken seriously. Whenever we come across this (and we are always informed), we instruct our solicitors to contact the individuals concerned with a view to taking legal action.

Even if no legal action is then taken, the offenders are liable for the legal costs of the instruction and correspondence, which is generally between a thousand and two thousand pounds, but may be more depending on how difficult the offender has been to contact.

Might be a good idea to remove it FAST.

It's not like he's losing any money on this though. It was aired on TV, it's completely different from buying one of his dvd's, and copying it.

Sax is right .. you can't tape things from TV, its technicaly illegal.

Also bare in mind that Derren is quite likely I'm sure to release this on DVD at some point down the line.

I believe, legally, that you are allowed to record something off tv but you are only allowed to watch it once and certianly not allowed to share it around. You also cannot show a video or dvd in a pubilc place.

I guess this forum (and the internet in general) kind of counts as a public "place" so yeah it will be illegal. But I presume that that statement on the website is in reference to dvds currently on sale.

My advice is, if you haven't seen it then watch it quick! While you still can!

I'm sure a couple of people will have appreciated the oppertunity to see it again, although they probably wouldn't say through fear of Mr Brown hunting them down.
good show though, one of the best!

basically dan brown gets these people to meet with him and he teaches them some of his stuff,he uses props etc to kinda force the people to rob a bank man who is bringing a case of money to a van from a bank, all set up of course, they do it all at different times,he does not use hypnosis at any stage just his own special ways
