Vernet Magic's Levitator

Has anyone got this? On paper it looks interesting, but has anyone tried it? There's nothing in the review section so I'm guessing not.

In view of the name of the manufacturer, I think we can make a good guess as to how this works  ! Presentation and careful consideration of angles will probably be very important.

Hi Tomo

I have had one of these for many, many moons... don't think mines' Vernet brand tho.

Tis true, you can float without threads such things as CDs, glasses, bottles, even small tortoises. The effect actually looks a whole lot better than you'd imagine, if yo don't overdo it.

Mine was made a little shoddily, but I'd imagine that Vernet's own would be topnotch.

As Mandrake said, angles are a bit of a problem... but generally this wouldn't cause too much grief as this effect IMO is a very much impromptu thing... do it when you feel the time is right.

There's interesting. I must admit I've just had an attack of CUPS and decided to get one. It's partly yet another barmaid shocker ;), but also I'm going to a dinner party on Saturday night. There's an autistic person going with her dad and she'll probably prefer something visual.

Thanks for the comments chaps. I'll review it over the weekend, possibly with a clip if I get time...

Just do me a favour... DONT' be disappointed or put off when you see it...

To float an empty glass bottle between the hands looks fantasitc from a spectator's view ;)

I promise I won't.

All for effect, and effect for all! :)

Edit: It arrived this morning and I'm not disappointed. I like its simplicity, in fact.
