I dont think it's helpful to blame the support group for your lapse. I think we just hold you up as an example of what can happen if you let C.U.P.S get the better of you.

On a more helpful front.....or unhelpful depending on how you look at it. Get a whopping great loan out to pay off the credit cards and any spare cash left over can be spent on more magi........I think I should stop right there. I too need help as that is what I've just done :?

I suppose that is why we are all here. I need a cake

Yes loan sounds so very good. I don't have a credit card so I could use the money for what ever I wanted. I am not sure how about getting a lone but I am sure if I google it I can find some information.

Can I just say that as a C.U.P.S support forum I do not in anyway recommend getting a loan to pay of the credit cards unless they are then not going to be re-maxxed with more spectacular effects that will bemuse and excite your audiences.

Has this support group just changed into a C.U.P.S encouragement forum?

Yes I agree. The CUPS support group should not condone loans under any circumstance - no matter how wonderful the effect may be! We must use our wisdom learn the art of patients and self-control (I am one to talk ). In order to achieve this goal we must persecute anyone who dares to approach our humble and yet vulnerable group with their hyped up promotions and merciless advertisements. As we are civilised human beings, I say: WE SHOULD BURN THEM TO THE STAKE ! WHOEVER IS WITH ME ON THIS, SAY AYE!

Now, can you pass the magic cakes?

AYE

BURN THE WITCH!

I just found out that my g/friends present (Revolutionary Card magic) has arrived today and I can't wait to go home and have a butchers. I am attempting to go 2 months without buying any magic. In fact if that goes well I may even atempt to go up until my birthday in September but that maybe going too far.

I'll keep you posted on my cold turkey attempt. Actually is someone else buying things for you the C.U.P.S version of methadone?

It almost links with the talk magic badge forum. Is there a way of adding a bit for C.U.P.S sufferers?

Maybe under the talkmagic logo you could add My name is ...... and I have C.U.P.S

Cold turkety is not going well. I am considering buying a Cardguard and other accessories

Card guards are not needed unless you have an expensive deck. I only use them for my Viper decks. Resist

I was in Toys R Us last night looking for a birthday gift for a child and on my way round the shop I found my self picking up a Marvin Magic Set and I even considered buying it (for me not the child)!!!! I think this was C.U.P.S I really can't see myslef with a Marvin set for ages 5+.

On the loan topic.... I googled it and you have to pay back the loan!! So I decided against that.
