Hell yeah!

Iron Maiden are absolutely brilliant. Trivium are great as well, I can't wait for it.

With Iron Maiden, I think "Bring Your Daughter" is a great song, I'm listening to that at the moment. Trivium's "Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr" is one of their best songs I think.

Roll on December!

Many many years ago (1990ish to be a little more precise), I worked for Iron Maiden on the UK leg of their tour!

Anyway, I'm off to see Joe Satriani on 21st June in Bournemouth. Much more refined than Maiden

Oh yes... Maiden rule!

I'm going on the 22nd December to Earl's Court to see them. Looking forward to it already. I saw them at Reading this Summer when they headlined on the Sunday. They only played songs from the first 3 albums. Brilliant!

Favourite tracks... Run To The Hills, Trooper, Fear Of The Dark, Number Of The Beast... I could go on!

PS. Been away for a while so I'm just catching up on everything I have missed.

I'm seeing them at the NEC on the 12th.

Favourite songs: Still Life, Phantom Of The Opera, The Prophecy, Age Of Innocence...I too could go on all day....

Trivium are pretty good too. I'm not into all the "AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH" stuff much but when he actually stops screaming it's pretty good. "Pull Harder..." is good and you can be damn sure that they will play it in December but my favourite has to be the title-track "Ascendency", which I think will be their opening song. Also, highlight of the album has got to be "Dying In Your Arms".

Any news on how Maiden are doing with the new album? Anyone know when they're planning to release it?

magic_evmeister, I'm going on the 12th too.

Trivium have got a new album coming out too, anyone know when that's out?

Ascendancy's a great song. Dying in Your Arms is all right, but I prefer their heavier stuff.
