I've had soooooo much fun over the years with this effect! And lost a few spiders on the way due to the frantic attempts of (usually) females trying to get the spider off! Anyway, each Halloween, I buy super cheap bags of Halloween Web & Spiders (ASDA, TESCO... anywhere!!), chuck the Web & keep the spiders! Black, the right size... & if you check through the poly bag first, usually 'soft' enough not to have 'scratchy' legs!!
