It is too hot!

[heatinducedrant]Is it just me or is this Summer ****exceptionally**** hot?! Even the nights aren't tempered with much coolness nowadays. I've been trudging around the city and been out so many times today that I am absolutely exhausted. At least in the Winter you can turn the central heating on to offer some relief from the cold, but with only one fan in the house...bah. No use.

I just wanted to rant a bit about this because it is wearing me down. At least there should be some mighty rain soon though.[/heatinducedrant]

haha!

New York has been rather hot lately (there's a shocker). Up in the mid 80s to 90s. Fourth of July is supposed to be rather hot as well.

Thanks,
Dominick

Heat-Health Alert is now at Level 3!

I do not know how you are all coping over there in the U.S. ...it is 'only' 28 degrees C here in the Midlands and I am about to pass out!

Yes, and it's only going to get worse. I watched a programme a year or so ago that predicted that within a few decades Britain in the winter would be like the Antarctic!

Thanks for those links though, they are very interesting and I think that I will be taking action.

It's a scorcher!

I've taken to working at night, lying in until lunchtime and pottering about during the afternoons. And taking lots of showers for that shiver when you step out.

Way too hot. Hate it!

I have found the best way to get to sleep in this weather is to just stay up as late as possible until you are physically incapable of staying awake a moment longer :D.

As a result you see some good TV, and some rubbish TV too. Last night I caught what turned out to be quite a good film, "Framed", and tonight there is a repeat of some TV Heaven/Telly Hell programme which I have seen before, but it is always good for a laugh so I think that I will kick off my evening with that! :D.

It is quite warm, but usually i wouldnt mind this heat if there was just the occassional breeze! It just seems like theres no relief from the heat at all!

What does health level warning 3 mean?

It means that a major heatwave will occur...high risk for the elderly and the young etc.

Bring us some breeze!
