So, you think I've misspelled 'Siege', then???

Nope. Sorry. No misspelling... just striving to be anything but conformist.

Seige - that's the name - and magic, aardvarks and confusion are usually the order of the day.

Real name, Chris Jones - initials CEJ... Seige is derived from the phonetic pronunciation of initials (I bet you've all been thinking there's something deep and meaningful, haven't ya!)

Age: 31, been dabbling in magic for many, many years - and always learning. Would consider myself a skilled hobbyist, although close friends and family would see me more as a complete lunatic who, when plied with enough fermented hops, will perform feats of magic all night long to just about anyone who will watch.

Strengths are cards & coins - concentrating quite a lot on mentalism too.

I write a lot of effects and tricks, mostly shared here, and aspire to be a kind of British, sane and less zany Jay Sankey (we're not worthy, WE'RE NOT WORTHY).

Approachable, helpful and honest... three things I strive to become, and yet mostly put my foot in it. Sense of humour and general lack of serious nature leads most people to take wide berth...

Best advice to newbies on this forum? Think Monty Python meets Morecambe & Wise, with a bit of Sid James and Tony Hancock... you'll fit in nicely! If you can survive a week with Mandrake's innuendo's, Mog's shrewd honesty, Tom's delightful sarcasm and Magicdiscoman's complete lunacy - you are indeed a braver person than most. Oh, and not to mention my predictably long and droning postings!

See you around... anything you need, just ask.

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989..

Man, don't you just hate it when you get missed out of a list of esteemed magicians like that

btw Seige - thanks for the info on the login name - I think thats an excellent idea. I think we all should give a bit of the how and way we chose our "handles". (Although some are more obvious than others)

Damn. I was hoping this had been forgotten so that I could "divine" his middle name at some point

 Hi and welcome.  Thanks for the insight in to the name although I had not picked up on the fact that it was spelt wrong!

Magic is real, just look around you, some of the most amazing things have no reason, no explanation but are very real.
