4 pip cards?

Postby TylerD » Jul 12th, '06, 07:16

Straight foreward can somegive give me the brand name of a deck with 4 pips in the corner?? Its hard for me because im left handed so I do everything backword then most people do. Anytime I fan a deck its always white unless I fan up but anyway, can someone give me a site?? And preferably not in the U.K.

Any manipulation deck has 4 indices.
Although these are thinner cards....

I'm sinister too. I don't let it bother me, though when fanning cards from hand to hand I have to remember not to hide the indices with the base of my right thumb. People have commented on how strange it looks to see someone shuffle left handed, but that's okay as long as they don't know what they're witnessing and see something innocent instead

I'm right handed in all things I do, except for handling cards. It's a bit weird ... but those are the only times it matters : fans and spreads.

You can get the Encyclopedia of Playing Card Flourishes and learn the right handed reverse thumb or pressure fan! :D This makes the fan in you right hand have pips with normal Bikes and USPCC card :).

Fanning the deck opposite (Fanning it upwords) Never looks as nice as fanning it the normal way you would though :( . When I fan normally I can get every card to show, you just cant tell because its always blank lol. 4 pip cards are so hard to come across these days. Some casinos may have them but they look like c*** (not the best) because they have the corner cut or a hole through all the cards.

All bridge cards have 4 pips, but they are a bit smaller than poker cards.
In Europe it's harder to find poker sized cards with 2 pips than the 4 pips bridge cards. Don't know for other European countries, but here in the Netherlands the only place to get Bicycle cards are the magic shops. And for the price of 1 deck of bikes, i can get about 6 decks of 'regular' cards in any toy store. But they are of less quality.

And i once saw some sheets of rub-off pips to make your own gimmicked cards. You could also use them to give your poker deck 4 pips. Don't remember where i saw them and don't know how well they will stick to the cards when used a lot. You could ask a magic shop if they have any of these sheets.
