This is just a quick note to say Hi and welcome to the Talkmagic forum.

Why not introduce yourselves to the rest of the members?

most know me here as Mog but my real name is Andy from Dundee (yes i do have a funny scottish accent, no its nothing like Sean Connery,Billy Connely or Ewan macgregor!, and no theres nothing under my kilt!) I dont really have anything witty or satirical to say at the moment so I'm just gonna keep shtumm, I try to be helpful on the forum so if anyone needs anything ask seige! (best piece of advice i can give)

as to where the MOG name comes from there have been a few different ideas..... some may think its from the movie "spaceballs" where John Candy played the part of "Barf" a half-man/half-dog hybrid called Mog but im way to handsome for that  others attribute it to the many years of studying martial arts (kungfu in particular) which have resulted in my catlike grace and movements (mog being a short form of "moggy"), and another version of it was phrased when i was a lowly apprentice and i had a habit of casually strolling around with my hands in my pockets, seemingly oblivious to all the world around me and someone asked if i was a "mogadon" user (which it appears is a pharmacutical drug which causes drowsiness and lethargy as far as I'm aware) which was then shortened to "Mog"

so you can make up your own minds as to which you prefer as it makes no difference to me cos i know which one is the REAL reason... although they all are true in their own way
