Weather is quite hot here and has been for weeks and to me THIS is horrible weather. I HATE the hot weather. I'd much rather have it cold and rainy.
Cold = Put on more clothes or turn on heating.
Heat = Sweat your nuts off. You can only have so many cold showers per day! Doesnt help when I work in this heat in an off license with NO air conditioning

Take a fan to work? or have a bucket of iced water to dip your feet in under the counter?

The heat finally beat technology earlier this week. My PC at home is upstairs in a small boxroom with no ventilation other than the doorway. While I was getting ready to listen to Opal's Radio Show a message appeared on screen to advise that the processor temperature had exceeded the maximum safe level so I had no choice but turn the whole thing off. Fortunately I still heard the broadcast on Sky but the PC is still off and stays off until we loose several degrees - C or F, I don’t mind!

The reception went on all the televisions in the house for about a hour a couple of days ago wonder if it was the heat?

I haven't had any problems with my computer in this hot weather...while it's fun playing with ice some cooler days would be a welcome relief over here.

We have a fan, it just keeps blowing the hot air around
Bucket of iced water is a good idea but also a bad one. You dont know how many bottles have been smashed on our carpet over the years.. and its always dirty anyway.. plus we very rarely get time to stop and relax. We have no seats or anything. Just constant running around in the heat, sweating and moaning
