Dime Vanish!

Postby The Dark Wizard » Aug 8th, '06, 07:40

Ok..

Here is my latest vanish effect. I used the dime for practical reasons. Mainly being because the TT I have was the wrong type and it was practical, if you know what I mean. I am correcting this and should have the right size any day. Again, my camera is c*** (not the best), BUT I did buy a cheap flood lamp to help better light me and my hands and I hope this overcomes the camera's short falls.

I have tried to improve my hand gestures and method for this vanish (trying to be more natural and smooth). This is my main objective. I am fully aware that vanishing a DIME isn't the most exciting effect in the world, but in this case, that isn't really what I am trying to accomplish. I am trying to get visually BETTER.

With this in mind, LET ME HAVE IT! :)

Hey I liked it. You've gone to the effort to make a whole performance not just some fumbling about in front of your phone which you've balanced on the edge of a table (like me....). It's convincing too, the only problem I have is that I noticed you on the bunny the other day, where you were pointed in the direction of Michael Jay's TT stuff in the Top Hat. It so happened that I had a look at that too. So everything you did jumped out at me because I've been studying it myself! You've obviously learned well though, bravo.

My friend, once again i loved it, you've definately improved the performance and the improved light helped a lot. I saw the hanky vanish as well and really liked that too. One tip with that is, after you tuck it in to the TT, pause for a second or two and 'sell' the fact that it's in that hand and THEN reveal it gone (if you know what i mean).

good stuff... (and nice music again)

MORE!!!
