Get Bobos modern coin magic. You can probably find it for about $10, and it will last you a lifetime. Also dont start saying you find it hard to learn from books, the teaching in bobo is fine, just read it well and give it time to absorb.

Bobo is full of plenty of good coin vanishes and i will stand by my reccomendation.

The raven is good if you are going to use it and realise its full potential as more than a coin vanish. Yes it does require a button up shirt (long or short sleeve) or a jacket so you have to decide whether that is practical for you. I prefer to perform wearing my suit jacket and so the raven is very pratical for me.

If you want coin vanishes you will use then get Bobo's Modern Coin magic. Raven is quite good, but for the money, you will get far more out of the book. It teaches many many vanishes...

Seriously, really do consider Bobo to learn the fundamentals. You will get much more satisfaction out of learning many effects that you can do. Save Infusion for later.

Think about it like this: you say you like coin magic, so what would you rather: be able to do one or two effects, or be able to have a whole array at your fingertips?

Obviously it's your money, so buy what you want, but you will probably get the most out of Bobo at this stage.

Infusion is impromptu and a good trick but you'd definately be best going with Bobo's Modern Coin Magic. I've never used it but people talk about it like its the RRTCM of coins.. so i'd say go with that :D

If you are referring to the coin thru glass then yeh its pretty good i think, even better doing the snapple bottle variation as it seems alot more impossible. Just give it the practise it deserves and you will have a visual impromptu coin thru glass effect in your arsenal.

If you are new to magic then you want to concentrate on learning skills from books and DVDs. Not spending hundreds of dollars on the lastest packet trick that to be honest may even be too hard for you. With a good book you can take your time learning the art of magic and not trying to keep up with the latest trends. To all lurkers who are beginners, trust us you will get much more out a good book or DVD then you do from a gimmick. You get a wide range of effects and will pick up some valuable skills along the way.
