Ordering a TT on the web

Postby Rich Lehmann » Aug 21st, '06, 20:59

I havent used a TT since I was a kid. Mainly because the first one I had I got from a rather high end store that catered to tourist but as a result the salesman pick one from their rediculously large assortment so it would match perfectly. Not having a store around now, I ordered one off the web but recieved one that matched so poorly I had to keep it at the perfect angle at all times so never used it.

For some odd reason the one I had when I was 9 still looks great but I can't seem to use it anymore

Any tips for finding the best match when ordering a TT over the web?

You know, people have gotten away using bright orange TTs before .

i've sat and ate dessert in a resturant with one on and no one i was with noticed at all - it even made a slight tapping noise as i used my spoon...

my advice is...don't worry about it...but if you go to cards4magic.co.uk they have some pretty damn good ones (and cheap) and they usually give you the dimensions if you are that worried...

and of course there's the old plonking it in hot water thing to do too...(yes i am still talking about a TT)...
