coin unique pro

Postby magicdiscoman » Nov 27th, '03, 17:02

coin unique pro any real advance on the origional or just another over priced scotch and soda.

I'm very familiar with the difference between the two coin sets scotch and unique.

According to that link
This coin system is similar to the older Coin Unique set. However, it's design allows for a smoother locking action and a more durable mechanism.
so is perhaps just an improved version? Beats me how you can imporve it much more, it was pretty good and did most of the listed effects anyway!

Some way to reduce rotation perhaps?

I very nearly lost mine when my other half started throwing it around the room to "see if it was real".

The thing is they look so convincing, that if they did accidentally get out into the big wide world they probably would never be recognised for what they are. Maybe they would get rejected from the odd vending machine, but that would make them more of a nuisance than a godsend.

I think it is sad for the poor little CU's that get lost this way, it must be a very lonely existence having all that magic potential, and yet to be merely treated like a garden or common (? thats wrong isnt it - should be common or garden) £1 coin. Very sad indeed. :(

So please people - be careful. Look after your CU's. They're not just for Christmas...

Beer and magic, my two loves in life, just don't mix, go figure!

Sadly I know there is at least one coin unique in circulation so keep checking :( When you find it remember its mine :)

Oh, spit - ya got me!! (And I bet yours had a picture of the Queen on it as well!)

From the above postings, I think Bananafish is going to start up a sort of CU Protection League - a bit like the RSPCA or Canine Defence League!

To be honest I don't have many problems with separating mine - I carry the necessary thingummy with me anyway and it takes only a second to to the job. Must find out more!
