Cardiff amateur magic man type thing

Postby The great rubbish one » Sep 19th, '06, 16:55

I know this introduction is a few posts late but here goes.

Hi,

I am Kevin and 24 years old.

Oops that’s for those dating sites!!!
..

.
.
I am 37 years old, been living in and around Cardiff for most of my life. I am not your typical Welshy though. I dislike rugby, farmers and sheep. Rugby because it is on the telly all the time over here, you can not get away from it. Farmers… Well, they are just farmers!!!!! Lastly the bloody sheep as I have not been able to catch any yet when I am feeling extremely horny!

Somehow I have managed to bag a fiancé, It must have been my geeky good looks and my ability to smoke as her first words to me were ‘Have you got a ciggy please!’ After wowing her with my dad dancing she was hooked and the rest was history. We are planning on getting married in Austia next year in picturesque surroundings and lots of snow.

I like football though, support Cardiff and Liverpool. Cardiff mainly but I always check on how the Reds are doing. We’ve been to watch the Welsh football team fail to qualify for too long but enjoy the drinking afterwards in town.

Been interested in magic for a good few years but only over the last say two years that I have actually been practising and doing magic. As in doing I mean a few kiddies parties for friends and a couple of weddings. I consider myself a beginner to amazing magician. I can make my wages disappear in a flash, or rather my fiancee can!

I only know one other magician and we have magic nights once or twice a week to float ideas and to practice tricks on each other.

To begin with I bought gimmicks and trick cards from shops but mostly now it’s just a pack of cards and sleight of hand. I always use a few gimmicks even now though to break up routines.

Hypnosis is another of my hobbies, managed to get through a diploma hypnotherapy course and find it interesting as well as fun.

Oooh, what else shall I put here…. I’d better not put about our swinging and dogging here, think I shall leave that for other sites!!!

Anyone local who fancies meeting up for some magic nights, feel free to contact me.

Now that you've been formally welcomed by our mods - here's my 2 cents.

You've got good magic humor and a genuine character and acent thats noticable even in typing. Thanks for your self review.

Welcome to the site from another welshman, I am from Cardiff originaly but live in Birmingham now.

You have a very keen interest in magic with some good books to learn from, good luck and keep it up.

there are a couple of people in Cardiff on this site, so you might get to meet up with some of them.

Leighton
