Hi gang,

Just joined the forum after having spent about 6 months on the "up hill slope" the is close-up.. I've been really enjoying the ride and I am currently getting really into Coins, Cards and a little bit of Mentalism (just purchased Psi Series Vol. 1. from Banachek so looking forward to getting into that).

Anyway, just wanted to say "hello" and let any (very) new magicians know that i'd be happy to share my experiences of the past few months (i've wasted a LOT of money on rubbish and would love to help you avoid the same !). I've also stumbled (through luck rather than judgement) across some lovely effects that are very suitable for beginners and that really help to build confidence. Just reach out if you need some help..

For the more experienced among you, I'm sure that i'll be looking for your advice sooner rather than later !

Incidently, does anybody subscribe to the "gomagicgo" podcast series..I just discovered it and I think that it is a great resource.. (go to www.gomagicgo.com)

Take care.

Darren

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
